Barber Balm
Maintain a well styled healthy beard and a smooth complexion with our fairtrade certified Barber Balm, specially developed for the luxurious grooming of beards (and the faces underneath!). Through our combination of pure natural ingredients we have created a product that offers a deep moisturising treatment and leaves your beard, and skin, smelling deliciously fresh.
We have used Coconut Oil within this balm as it is tremendous for your skin and your hair. It is a super emollient, which means it absorbs easily into the skin to provide it with moisture, it also works at slowing down the evaporation process of this moisture to make your skin feel hydrated for longer. This also helps with repairing and restoring broken down skin cells so that your skin can keep strong and healthy. It is rich in Vitamin E and essential Amino Acids which help to strengthen your skin’s barrier so that you are left with healthy skin. It is an excellent natural hair conditioner as it is intensely moisturising and works to bring dry tired hair back to life. Seeing as a beard is on show all of the time, it’s essential that your hair is on top form, which is why we’ve created this balm.
We have also included Rosemary Oil, and Hemp Seed oil which are traditionally used to promote lustrous healthy hair. Rosemary oil encourages hair growth as it has anti-inflammatory properties, promotes nerve growth and improves circulation. Seeing as it strengthens circulation, it is thought to also promote hair growth and decrease the possibility of hair loss, which is great news! As nobody wants a patchy beard.
We have also used Cocoa Butter, not only because it smells delightful, but also as it is a great natural aid for styling your hair. Similarly to Coconut Oil, it is thought to have great healing and softening properties that will make your hair healthy and shiny, and make your beard one that people wish they had themselves!
Other ingredients include: Grapeseed oil, to restore your hair’s natural shine; beeswax, to firmly hold your hair in place after you’ve styled it; Shea Butter, for it’s amazing moisturising benefits; Canola Oil, for further nourishment; Cedarwood Essential Oil, thought to promote hair growth as well as providing a refreshingly woody scent; and Grapefruit Seed Extract, for its anti-oxidising properties.
